Claire Bell

My passion for food started during my extensive travels in Europe, working as a private chef, during my summer holidays when I worked as an elementary school teacher in London (UK). Also it was further ignited during my travels through Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and work in India.

For many years I have run children’s and more recently adult cooking classes, both in the UK and now here in my home in Erin, Ontario.

My vision is to combine my skills as an educator, my love of food and interest in nutrition into cooking classes, hosting events and culinary experiences that will be educational and enjoyable for all.

Food is the medium through which ‘real learning’ happens, connections can be made and our creativity expressed. Learning to cook, then cater special events for family and friends, gives joy and a sense of achievement.
