Probably the first local restaurant I went to, after a recommendation from Steve Aspinall (who had worked at Scaramouche, a sophisticated French restaurant, in Toronto, which I am yet to visit!) The owners of Scaramouche own the Glen Tavern, in Glen Williams and Greystones, in Orangeville. (What is written in the Glen Tavern’s website is spot on: ‘seasonal, contemporary food, carefully selected wines and drinks in a comfortable setting’.
